Class Action

A class action lawsuit allows a number of people with a similar complaints to combine their cases together, rather than have each person file a separate lawsuit. There must be common damages and legal issues, and each claim must arise from the same event.

Examples of class actions include an explosion that injures many people, oil spills, credit card holders being charged hidden or unauthorized fees, injuries caused by a bad batch of a drug or a defective product, and so forth.
