Shanna Bernard LaGarde is the office manager and bookkeeper at The Law Office of Bruce C. Betzer, where she has been a vital part of the team since 2007. A native of New Orleans and a graduate of Dominican High School, Shanna attended the University of New Orleans before beginning her career with the firm as a legal secretary. Over the years, she has helped guide the firm’s operations while building lasting relationships with clients across Metairie, New Orleans, and the surrounding parishes.
Shanna’s favorite part of working at a boutique law firm is the opportunity to know clients personally and support them through challenging times. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and warm personality help keep the office running smoothly while fostering a welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues.
Outside the office, Shanna is a proud mother of two boys and stepmother to three more. She loves taking family trips, creating new memories together, and enjoying time with her loved ones. Shanna values being surrounded by a motivated, close-knit team that feels like family—something she believes makes the firm’s client service truly stand out.
